The VUE Story

A look inside of our branding process.

From concept to Launch.

Since the beginning of 2016, we started pursuing an idea. This idea has enlightened and stretched our minds beyond return. As the idea turned into a visible brand, it became harder and harder for us to keep it hidden.

VUE Marketing was birthed through idea development & the evolution of our team throughout this process. Our brand not only represents our external message but the internal culture and where we’re headed as a company.

The Spark that Lit Our Fire

At the beginning of 2016, a number of unexpected events brought our team together. Everyone was placed in positions of self-sacrifice and discovery as we have never been in before. Through the challenges of starting a company, new ideas started to emerge. The box that everyone was being pushed into before was removed, and things started to flow freely. We had to learn to work together and set all differences and complaints aside. Either you were in to pursue the vision, or you were not.   Such creativity & leadership burst forth from those involved during this time, and they have not been exceeded since. Diamonds were made under the pressure. Moving from one initiative to the next, the foundation that was built during that times was the foundation that is to carry us through the upcoming seasons.

Cultural Development

As our team grew, the culture started to warm up. Similar minds and values started to build the foundation of a culture that we now call Ultra.

Beyond what was possible before. Going beyond what was usual or ordinary. The most intense degree of a quality.

The core that keeps our culture burning is unity. When you become a part of our family, you have chosen to pursue the things that benefit all. We all made an internal decision to work for the company as if it was our own and to treat every member of the company as a partner, caring for the progress and development of each other as well as the company.   This drive to develop the company translates into the passion we have to develop and grow our clients’ businesses. Most agencies see themselves as the whip master leading their clients in the direction they deem best. We don’t allow ourselves to look at it that way. Our clients are our partners. When we take on a project, we build it as if it were our own. Our culture is a selfless one.

The only way a flame can spread is when it sets something else on fire. How can you spread a fire – a passion – a message – a culture – if you are not willing to go to where they are.

Vibrant, Bold, Passionate

The goal of VUE is to be variant, passionate, bold, powerful, and to emit a clear message at first glance.

“VUE” is meant to be interpreted as an abstract way of saying “view”, for we aim to change views through marketing & strategy.

It originated from the original name of our company, Vires Ultra Enterprises.

Voice & Tone

The tone of this voice is simple, bold, straightforward, clever and has a bit of an edge. Phrases are kept as short as possible while communicating the brand’s attitude. Many are simply the result of shortening longer phrases.

To aid in presenting a consistent tone across communications, a list of approved “voice words” has been developed for use on packaging, advertising, brochures and other communications. 










The voice & tone communicate quickly with the audience, and, when styled correctly, create a recognizable look for the brand.


We want to communicate to our audience that there are no limits to our abilities. Our team is your team. Our company is a force of fire that comes in and refines, renews, and gets rid of all the old, dry things that were taking up space.

After a fire, new & stronger growth always occurs.

Origin of the Flame

“And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush” Exodus 3:2

“He makes his messengers winds, his ministers a flaming fire” Psalm 104:4

“Is not My word like fire,” declares the LORD, “and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?” Jeremiah 23:29

“When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them.” Acts 2:1-3

After reading the quotes above, the message is clear as to how our symbol & its meaning developed, but it did not develop overnight. When the idea of VUE started to develop, we went through many design stages, testing many different directions and styles. After sorting through all of our ideas, a vision came to two of our team members. The visions came at different times, but, coincidentally, the visions were about the same thing: A flame. That’s when the icon and wordmark of VUE Marketing that you see now came to life. VUE brought a group of very different individuals together, just like those in the Upper Room, all in one accord, at the right time, the fire came and fell on all of them, giving them power to conquer and spread their message throughout the world.

It’s as if the idea of VUE was delivered straight from the mouth of God in the same way Moses from the Bible received his calling. “Before the burning bush, there was never a burning bush” – Paul Cain, so why should Moses have accepted the voice in the flame as God, if it never happened before? The answer is simple. It’s because the flame that was in the burning bush started burning within him. We know this to be true, for that’s exactly what happened to us.

Igniting Our Color Palette

The colors that light up our brand are derived from the tone of VUE, the origin of the spark, and the burning passion that lives inside our team. We built our color palette by drawing inspiration from nature and other modern brands.

Refining the Brand

VUE consists of unique individuals that come from all different walks of life. We understand that our clients are the same way. Everyone has a different story, a different taste, a different style. With this in mind, we have created a brand that can tickle most anyone’s fancy. With crisp colors, modern designs, and fun messages, our identity items easily stand out among the crowd.
